I proudly served my community in the City of Portage for 17 years as an On-Call Firefighter and State Licensed / Nationally Registered EMT-Basic. During my time serving with the Fire Department, I built and continue to run a travel agency that over the last decade has become a trusted source for vacation destinations around the globe.

When it comes to my education, I worked full-time and maintained a full time work schedule while in college. I have an Associates Degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I also Graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree earning the honors of Magna Cum Laude.

What I am most proud of though are my kids. I have daughter that is married and son that is just beginning his journey in elementary school. They are both unique in their own ways, but still share a fondness of Disney. A dad could not ask for better kids!
